'I am not mad to support Modi': Raj Thackeray
Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) president Raj Thackeray said he was not mad to support to BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.
However, he said his support was not personal but for his work.
He was speaking at a meeting at Vanzari Maidan in Sinnar taluka of the district Nashik last evening in support of MNS candidate Pradeep Pawar where Mr Thackeray again lauded Mr Modi for the development of Gujarat.
He said that Mr Modi gave water to Kutch and developed farming there.
He alleged that industries were coming up in many cities of Maharashtra, but the locals did not get jobs and non-Maharashtrians were praided jobs.
The Bhoomi putra should get jobs but why do these politicians not understand it, he stated.
Only late Yeshwantrao Chavan and Bal Thackeray thought about Maharashtra about their constituency and no other politician thinks that way. NCP chief Sharad Pawar got several union ministries and got love from Maharashtra but he could not go beyond Baramati, he alleged.
Mr Thackeray said the MNS has projected an educated candidate from Nashik constituency and appealed to the voters to support him .
