People want Congress free nation Vinod Khanna
Bollywood actor of yesteryears and BJP MP Vinod Khanna today said people across the nation wants Congress free nation.
Making an appeal to the voters to cast their vote in favour of BJP candidate from Udhampur-Doda Parliamentary Constituency Jitender Singh, Mr Khanna while addressing a public rally said, "J&K is the crown of India and therefore a strong message against the corruption, mis-governance and terrorism should go from here".
Quoting one of his favourite dialogues "maar diya jaaye yaa shod diya jaaye", he added to it "bol Congress tere saath kya salook kiya jaaye".
"Congress deserve to be wiped out totally and it has no right to sit even in opposition for the clear reason that the people are fed up with its acts of omission and commission," said the cinestar.
He also accused the Congress leaders of being arrogant and having little respect for democratic values as well as for leaders of high statute belonging to other political parties.
"Nation has suffered a lot and the time has come when the Congress should be shown the door," said the BJP leader adding that people should get united to defeat Congress in the forthcoming Lok Sabha election.
Meanwhile, J&K in-charge and Member Parliament Avinash Rai Khanna in his address said that the wave in favour of BJP and its prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi is visible in every nook and corner, which is an indicator that the people want a change at the Centre and the only option available with them is the victory of BJP.
"The most significant aspect is that Narendra Modi is committed to take forward the legacy of Atal Behari Vajpayee and its impact is also seen among the people of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh, who still remember former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee for his sincere efforts in bringing normalcy in the State besides extending a hand of friendship to Pakistan," said the BJP MP.
