NDA now poised to cross 400 marks
Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today observed that NDA was not targeting between 300 and 325 seats in the country to ensure five years of stable economy and administration in the country.
Mr Badal said most independent surveys have already confirmed that it is a no contest elections as the Congress seems to be hovering not more than 100 seats and the Third Front any where 35 to 50 seats. That still leaves about 400 seats where the NDA is head of others and poised to win.
It is the kind of wave that the people witnessed immediately after Indira Gandhi lifted the Emergency in 1977.
Mr Badal said the people of the country were just waiting to push the button to show the door to the confused and corrupt Congress regime.
Congress, according to Badal, is completely leaderless and there is complete disarray there.
Virtually Congress lost this election the moment they first projected its vice-president Rahul Gandhi as their leader but later on refused to name his as their prime ministerial candidate.
Whatever they might say now but the fact is that even the Congress knows that Mr Gandhi is no match for BJP prime ministerial candidated Narender Modi. The lack of courage to project Mr Gandhi as PM candidate was itself an admission of defeat and no merely confirming that.
He claimed that SAD and BJP alliance heading toward the winning of all the 13 Lok Sabha seats in the Punjab and the Congress knew it that it was losing in Punjab even after committing of blunder of pushing all its star campaigning into the electroal fray.
