AAP announces candidate against Modi from Vadodara
Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today announced a social activist and businessman Sunil Kulkarni as its candidate against BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi from Vadodara Lok Sabha seat.
Mr Kulkarni originally belongs to Maharashtra's Latur and has been living in Vadodara for the past six years.
Besides an infrastructure firm, he also runs a hospital for AIDS patients in Kolhapur.
Mr Kulkarni has also worked with anti-graft crusader Anna Hazare.
He also participated in the Gandhian's movement for Jan Lokpal Bill in Delhi.
The AAP candidate will file his nomination papers tomorrow, the last date for filing of nominations.
Congress national general secretary Madhusudan Mistry is contesting from Vadodara in the general elections.
