Gujarat Chief Minister and BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi will lead a spectacular road show before filing his nomination papers from Vadodara Lok Sabha constituency on April 9.

State Energy Minister and in-charge of Vadodara BJP, Saurbah Patel told mediapersons that Mr Modi will reach Vadodara airport at 0930 hours and will take out a road show from Kirti Stambh to the collector office where he will file his nomination papers at 11:00 hours.

He said that during the two-kilometer long road show, Mr Modi will be accompanied by state BJP President RC Faldu and other senior party leaders.

Mr Patel said that Mr Modi is not expected to address any rally in Vadodara before the filing of the nomination papers.

The election here is scheduled on April 30.
