The Aam Aadami Party(AAP) has urged the Election Commission to take due action against Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje for 'making hate speech'.

A party communique issued here today, quoted Ms Raje as saying 'One Congress candidate from Saharanpur had said he would chop Modi into pieces, now we will see who will be cut into pieces after the elections.' However, the AAP targeted leaders of both the BJP as well as Congress for 'hatred based politics' and held 'the politics of religion, based on principle of divide-and-rule, has been practiced by the two national parties viz. Congress and BJP since last 60 years. Whenever, the election time approaches these parties start polarising the masses through their hate speeches and provocative religious remarks'.

Two public statements given by Congress MLA Imran Masood and Ms Raje may be part of that strategy, AAP felt.

'Masood said a few days) that he would cut Modi into Pieces' and now the Chief Minister Raje replied to that in an equally provocative way, the party observed.

Strict action be taken against such offenders, the party urged.
