BJP national president Rajnath Singh and party prime ministerial candidates Narendra Modi will address their election campaign rallies in Beed and Latur district of Marathwada region on April 8 and 9 respectively where polls are scheduled on April 17.


Talking to UNI, state BJP spokesperson Shirish Boralkar today said, party president Mr Singh will address his first rally in Nilanga of Latur district at 1330 hours on April 8 in support of party candidate Dr Sunil Gaikwad, while Mr Singh will proceed at Parli-Vaijnath on same day and will address a rally at 1700 hrs in support of Beed Lok Sabha candidate and senior leader Gopinath Munde who is also sitting MP from Beed.

Mr Boralkar furter said that, Mr Modi will address a rally at Zilla Parisahd Sankul in Latur at 1100 hours in support of Mr Gaikwad, Mr Boralkar added.

Mr Modi addressed his first rally on March 30 in Nanded where Mr D B Pawar-Patil is contesting election as party nominee against Congress candidate and state former chief minister Ashok Chavan.
