Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot today expressed his disagreement with the Congress state units approach of allowing back into the partyfold, who quit or were expelled for indiscipline or anti party activities.

Addressing party workers here this afternoon, Mr Gehlot, who is on his way to a three-day whirlwind campaign trail in various constituencies of Western Rajasthan, said those who had turned rebellious and were expelled from the party should be not reinducted.

"Those who rebel and leave the party are just opportunists and such persons should not be taken back,' he said, adding that the party gains strength from dedicated workers/leaders only.

Many leaders, including some former Ministers/Ex-MLAs who were expelled or quit the party in the eve of assembly polls four five months ago, were recently allowed to rejoining the party.

He also appealed to the workers to work diligently and resolutely for the party nominee from Jodhpur Union Minister Chandresh Kumari in her election campaign.
