Naveen dubs central leaders as 'migratory birds'
BJD supremo and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on a whirl wind election campaign train ion Western odisha today described the visit of the central leaders both from the Congress and the BJP as migratory birds.
Addressing election meetings at various places here, Mr Patnaik said the migratory birds come to Hirakud and Chilika for a comfortable stay in the winter and leave at the onset of spring.
The leaders Congress and BJP are doing the similar practice now, and their only objective is 'Votes' only. 'They are the real 'migratory birds'of Odisha,'the Chief Minister said
'The central leaders come to Odisha for votes only. They have nothing to do with the interest of Odisha and its crisis. But BJD is the only political party in the state who will be with the four crore people of the state all the time', Mr Patnaik remarked.
The chief minister also came down heavily on the centre for neglecting the state in the railway and mineral royalty besides other sectors
Mr Patnaik said the people should ask these central leaders of both the Congress and the BJP as to where were they during the natural calamities in Odisha when the severe cyclonic storm Phailin hit the coast causing unprecedented devastation followed by heavy floods in several parts of the state.
'While central leaders do only lip service for the Odisha people, it is only BJD which work for them, 'Mr Patnaik said and appealed people to exercise their franchise wisely for BJD so that development could be expedited all over the state.
