Bookies drop Man U's value to 150 mln pounds since 'Wolf of Wall Street' Moyes' entry
Irish bookmakers Paddy Power has reportedly branded new Manchester United boss David Moyes as the 'Wolf of Wall Street' and said that the club's value plummeted to 150 million pounds since he took over as manager.
Paddy Power has started taking odds on how low the US-listed club's share price - currently around 15 dollars - will go by the end of the season and is offering 12/1 odds that the price will fall to 10 dollars or less.
According to the Mirror, Paddy Power said that Moyes seems to be like the 'Wolf of Wall Street' as far as the investors are concerned as the club's value has dropped with its lacklustre performance since he replaced Sir Alex Ferguson six months ago.
The bookmakers also said that wiping 250 million dollars off United's share price in six months is a spending feat even millionaire Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich would be proud of.
