UPA Govt failed in providing jobs to youth: BJP MP
Gujarat BJP secretary and Rajya Sabha MP Mansukh Mandavia today alleged that the Congress-led UPA Government at the centre failed in providing employment opportunities to the youth of the country.
"There is 16.3 unemployment rate in urban graduate and post graduate males while there is 23.4 unemployment rate in females," Mr Mandavia said.
He claimed that in rural areas it was 19.1 per cent in males and 29.6 per cent in females.
"During last few years the UPA Government is talking a lot on skill development and improvement in college education but the situation is totally different," the BJP Rajya Sabha MP alleged.
He claimed that in Gujarat, unemployment rate among the youth was just one per cent.
Mr Mandavia said the people of the country will give the BJP more than 272 seats, while the party will win all 26 Lok Sabha seats in the state in the coming general elections.
