Bengal qualified for finals of the Syed Mustaq Ali T20 cricket after beating Tripura by 72 runs with one match in hand and Odisha kept their hope alive for next stage after beating strong contender Jharkhand by 4 runs here today.

Wriddhiman Saha playing his last match in domestic cricket before his IPL duty blasted 71 runs in 37 balls with nine boundaries and three sixes to steer Bengal with comfortable margin win against Tripura.

Bengal, earlier defeated Assam and Jharkhand, made the highest score of 196 in five wickets and then bowled Tripura out in 124 runs in 8 wickets at Eden Gardens.

Odisha kept their hope alive for a qualification after they defeated Jharkhand by 4 runs in a low scoring match at Jadavpur
