Hockey Odisha and Sports Authority of India today emerged victorious and joined Haryana and Punjab in the semi-finals of the 4th Hockey India Junior Men National Championship 2014 (Division A) here today. In semi-finals to be played to be played on Saturday, Haryana will take on Punjab and Sports Authority of India will clash against Odisha.

In Pool B match, Odisha continued their winning spree as they beat Mumbai Hockey Association Ltd convincing margin of 4-0. All four goals by Odisha came through penalty corner conversion. They got their first penalty corner in the very 1st minute which was converted by Sanjit Toppo. Odisha earned another penalty corner in the 31st minute and Anand Lakra converted it into a goal.

On crossing over Joseph Toppo converted a penalty corner in the 61st minute and Anuranjan Tirkey completed the tally in the 68th minute.

In Pool D match, Sports Authority of India blanked Hockey Bhopal 5-0. SAI opened their account in the 6th minute through Navdeep Singh who converted a penalty corner. In the 30th minute Ajay Yadav scored a field goal to make it 2-0. On resumption SAI added three more goals through Ajit Kumar. Pandey (49, 67 minutes) and Pawan Rajbhar (54th).
