I did not backstab Uddhav-Raj
The allegations and counter allegations between Uddhav and Raj Thackeray continued today with the MNS chieftoday declaring that he had not not backstabbed on Uddhav. Addressing an election rally at Dombivili for the MNS nominee Raju Patil at the Sports complex, Mr Raj Thackeary declared that the ongoing dialogue will continue till April 22.
Stating that he had not back stabbed Uddhav, he queried, "when I was by his side on his journey from hospital, did not realise that I had back stabbed him, he questioned.
In his hard hitting speech, he said that this is not the end of the ongoing "war" I will decide when to end it. He said that a decision on the issue of toll would be taken after the present elections.
In his speech he referred to Ramdas Athawale and said that he was the Lallu of Maharashtra.
In a related development in an television interview BJP senior leader and former President Nitin gadkari said that once Balasaheb had expressed the desire that Raj and Uddhav should bury the differences and come together. He had told him that the day they come to gather will be the most happiest day in his life.
This did not not happen despite our efforts he said. He also told the interviewer that in an attempt that the Sena-BJP votes should not not split and go to MNS he had expressed his desire to Raj asking him not not to contest the present Lok sabha polls. But he had taken a decision to contest and the issue is settled now now he said. He said that while we want that the votes should not not be split and benefit the SS-BJP the Congress wants it otherway round as it will benefit the Congress-NCP he said. Instead of asking me as to why they are not not coming to gether you better ask them this question he said. He reiterated that the alliance between the BJP-SS will continue for ever despite the minor "kurburi" which is there between the Congress-NCP also.
