Senior Congress leader and former APCC Secretary Kolanukonda Sivaji today described joining of Congress leaders and former ministers, Mandali Buddha Prasad and Pinnamaneni Venkateswara Rao the Telugu Desam Party, as unethical and appealed people to teach them a lesson.


In a release here today, Mr Sivaji alleged that the two leaders enjoyed power of positions for decades in the Congress party but when the party was in crisis they quit it. It was nothing but opportunistic politics, he said.

The two leaders formed Krishna Delta Parirakshna Samithi and embarked on fast unto death demanding water to the Krishna delta during the regime of TDP, but forgetting all, they joined the TDP, he slammed.

Mr Sivaji said two congress leaders, joining the TDP, amounted to breaking the aspirations their fathers and Congress leaders Mandali Buddha Prasad and Pinnamaneni Koteswara Rao.

Mr Sivaji pointed out that when Mr Buddha Prasad and Mr Venkateswara Rao joined the TDP in the presence of N Chandrababau Naidu in Hyderabad today, the Krishna district TDP leaders D Umamaheshwara Rao, Gadde Ramamohan, Kesineni Srinivas and K Narayana were absent,indicating that the TDP local leaders were opposing them.
