Union Minister Namo Narain Meena(Congress), his younger brother Harish Chandra(BJP) and Meena strongman Dr Kirodi Lal Meena(NPP) today filed their nominations for April 24 Lok Sabha polls from Dausa, setting the stage for a keen battle of ballots in this reserved Meena bastion.

Minister of State for Defence and Rahul brigade member Jitendra Singh entered the fray from Alwar to seek his second successive term from his home town.

Besides the Meena trio, former MLA Surajbhan also filed his candidature from Dausa on a Samajwadi Party ticket.

Haryana ex-legislator Gujjar strongman Sukhbir Singh Jaunpuria filed his papers as a BJP nominee from Tonk-Sawai Madhopur seat.

A total of 13 candidates today entered the fray in five parliamentary constituencies that will go to polls on April 24 in the second phase of elections in the desert state.

With this, 22 candidates have filed their nominations in the five constituencies since March 29.
