Guardiola warns Moyes about pressure on big clubs to bag trophies for survival
Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola has reportedly cautioned Manchester United boss David Moyes that there is always pressure on the top clubs to win trophies for survival.
Guardiola, who sealed the Bundesliga title with seven games to spare in his debut season at Bayern Munich, said that in the big clubs when a manager does not take his team to victory, he is always in trouble and one has to look forward and win games.
According to the Mirror, although Guardiola expressed sympathy for Moyes, who has taken champions Manchester United backwards to seventh in the Premier League, the former Barcelona boss said that the big clubs have to try to maintain their elite level by winning titles.
The Bundesliga giants, who are en route to their 24th German title in their illustrious history, visit Old Trafford for their upcoming Champions League clash against United, the report added.
