St Xavier's College beat AJC Bose College by 7 wickets to win the Calcutta University inter-college cricket championship in the final played here on Friday.

AJC Bose College batting first scored 191 in 39 overs as Ravi Sanger made the highest 85 runs as St Xavier's Geet Puri and Adrish Saha Chowdhury took two wickets each conceding 21 and 23
respectively.

Needing 192 runs to win the title St Xavier's College collected required runs for the loss of three wickets in 30.2 overs.

Supriyo Karmakar (62), Raja Jhunjhunwala (48) were the main stay for the winners
