Sabir Ali, who was recently expelled from the Janata Dal-United (JD-U), joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday.

BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi expressed his unhappiness over his induction in the party and said underworld don 'Dawood Ibrahim' might even join the party.

Not naming Ali, Naqvi said he is a 'friend' of Indian Mujahideen chief Yasin Bhatkal.

Naqvi tweeted: "Terrorist Bhatakal friend join BJP...soon accepting dawood."

The JD-U on Monday expelled party leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sabir Ali for praising Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, media reports said.

According to reports, Ali had praised the policies of Modi.
