Ex-sports scribe Salil Kumar Naha dies
Former sports writer Salil Kumar Naha died in Kolkata on Wednesday following heart attack, family sources said.
He was 64.
His end came at his central Kolkata home. He is survived by his wife and a son.
A former vice-president of Calcutta Sports Journalists Club (CSJC), Naha had served the Statesman for around two decades and was then associated with two Bengali dailies Aaj Kaal and Pratahik Sambad.
He was cremated at Keoratolla burning ghat.
CSJC president S Sabanayakan and secretary Purnendu Chakraborty condoled the death of Naha.
