It was a warm and cloudy Tuesday in the national capital, with the maximum temperature recorded at 32.7 degrees Celsius. The Met office has forecast partly cloudy sky Wednesday with one or two spells of rain.

There was light rain early Tuesday. One mm of rain was recorded till 8.30 a.m.

Tuesday's temperature was two notches above average, said an official of the India Meteorological Department.

The minimum temperature was 16.5 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the year, while the maximum humidity was recorded at 96 percent.

Similar weather is expected Wednesday, with a partly cloudy sky and one or two spells of rain.

Wednesday's maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be around 31 and 17 degrees Celsius.

Monday's maximum temperature settled at 29.2 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season's average, while the minimum was one notch above average at 18 degrees Celsius.
