Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi, who is popularly known for his kissing scenes, turned 35 years of age on Monday.


Before starting his career as an actor, Emraan worked with Vishesh Films as an assistant director on Vikram Bhatt's 'Raaz' (2002).

In 2003, he made his acting debut with Bhatt's 'Footpath' and followed it with the erotic thriller 'Murder' (2004), which emerged as a box office success.

Emraan subsequently appeared in several hit films, mostly under the Vishesh Films banner and earned the titles of "serial kisser" and "Hit Machine".

The actor delivered a notable performance in Kunal Deshmukh's 'Jannat' based on crime, greed and fast cash. Set against the backdrop of match fixing in cricket, 'Jannat' was said to be a turning point in Emraan's career.

The actor eventually garnered praise for his performances in 'Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai' (2010), 'The Dirty Picture' (2011), 'Shanghai' (2012) and 'Ek Thi Daayan' (2013).

Having appeared in a variety of roles, he has established himself as a leading contemporary actor of Hindi cinema.

His upcoming films include 'Invisible', 'Danis Tanovic Next', 'Unglee', 'Badtameez' and 'Mr. X'.
