WT20: Pakistan post 130 for seven

Mirpur, Mar 21 : Pakistan posted 130 for seven against India in the World T20 match here on Friday.

Kamran Akmal gave Pakistan a strong start by smashing two boundaries. But he got run out soon as Pakistan received the first blow in the second over of the match as the scorecard stood at 9 for 1.

Skipper Mohammad Hafeez (15) and Ahmed Shehzad added 35 runs in the second wicket partnership in a bid to bring Pakistan back into the game.

India bounced back soon as Ravindra Jadeja picked up Hafeez in the eighth over. Amit Mishra soon got rid off Ahmed Shehzad as he deceived the Pakistani opener with his turn and MS Dhoni did not mistake in stump him out.

Pakistan's scorecard stood at 47 for three in 8.2 overs.

Umar Akmal top scored for Pakistan with his 33. Sohaib Maqsood contributed 21 runs with his willow.

Mishra picked up two wickets in the match.

India in return has scored 54 for one in eight overs.

India has lost the wikcet of Shikhar Dhawan (26). His wicket was picked by Umar Gul.

Rohit Sharma (24*) and Virat Kohli (0) were at the crease.
