Mumbai: 4 convicted in 2 gangrapes
A Mumbai court on Thursday convicted four people in two gangrape cases that took place at the Shakti Mills compound here in 2013.
The four men have been convicted of rape, conspiracy, common intention and unnatural sex.
The sentencing will be pronounced on Friday.
A Mumbai photojournalist was gangraped by five men, including a minor, when she entered Shakti Mills on Aug 22, 2013 for a shoot as the assailants held back her colleague by tying him up.
A telephone operator was allegedly gangraped by the same four men earlier on July 21, 2013 at the Shakti Mills in Mumbai.
