Students from a high school in America actually paid the school authorities to stop them from playing Justin Bieber's 'Baby' on loop.

The administrators of a Washington state high school played the 20-year-old pop singer's hit track incessantly over the loudspeaker during lunch and between classes and told the students to collectively donate 500 dollars for a school in Ghana if they wanted to stop the music, Mashable reported.

The Crossover International Academy, which was supported by the fundraising efforts, provides education for orphaned children in the African nation.

Student government president Conner Stakelin, who raised more than 1000 dollars, said that they decided to play one song over and over to motivate students to donate more by annoying them.
