Manchester City has scored 99 goals in just 33 matches this season and will reach a century eight games quicker than any side in Premier League history if they score against Cardiff.

Manuel Pellegrini's team have racked up 99 goals so far this season in 33 games, the last five coming in Wednesday's FA Cup third round replay against Blackburn Rovers.

Pellegrini said more goals are better, but preferred to have a balanced team.

City has scored 59 goals in the Premier League as they look to chase down a number of records as well as trophies, Sport24 reports.

Pellegrini said Edin Dzeko and Alvaro Negredo are in very good moments and Sergio is just coming back from injury.

Negredo has scored 21 goals and Dzeko has helped himself to 15 so far this season while Aguero has 20 and midfielder Yaya Toure 13.
