Kejriwal "ill"; cancels Vidarbha rallies
Former Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday cancelled his rallies at Vidarbha, the eastern region of Maharashtra, due to his "ill health".
However, he is expected to attend a charity fund raiser event in Nagpur on Thursday evening.
Chaos broke out at Churchgate railway station in Mumbai on Wednesday as Kejriwal reached there to board a local train.
TV footage showed AAP supporters damaging metal detectors at the station while daily passengers complained of harassment and inconvenience.
Meanwhile, though Kejriwal said he will travel like an 'aam aadmi' (common man) in a local train, it was a special train arranged for him with no other passenger on board.
Kejriwal on Wednesday visited Mumbai to address several public meetings and campaign for his party for the Lok Sabha elections.
Despite the Mumbai Police providing 'Z' category security to him, on his arrival, Kejriwal took an autorickshaw from the airport to Andheri station, where he boarded a local train to Churchgate.
