Kejriwal to address rallies in Gujarat
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday will be addressing a series of public meetings in Gujarat.
He left Jaipur on Friday and will address his first public meeting in Gujarat at Bapu Nagar in Ahmedabad on Saturday.
Kejriwal, who was denied appointment to meet Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, on Friday said he was not a terrorist that he was stopped five kilometres away from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s prime ministerial candidate's residence.
"I went to meet Modi. We were stopped five kilometres away from his residence. I am not a terrorist that I will go to his home. Being an ex-CM, I deserve a courtesy call from Modi," he told reporters.
His convoy was stopped by the Gandhinagar Police on its way to Modi's home.
Kejriwal earlier in the day announced that he would drop in to meet Modi with a list of 16 questions that challenge the BJP's claims of the hyper-development of Gujarat on his watch.
The AAP supremo visited Gujarat on a four-day visit to check development claims made by state CM Narendra Modi.
