Former Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal on Monday said that his fight was not against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi but to finish hate politics in the country.

"I did not take a decision to fight against Narendra Modi. If Sanjay Singh has said so, ask him the reason for it," said Kejriwal.

"It is not important to fight against anyone. The most important fight is for the people. We want to finish hate politics and bring up love amongst people," he said.

He further said that the Modi wave was projected by the media and that there was no such wave in the country.

"There is no Modi wave in the country; this is being projected by the media," Kejriwal said.

"The people are very angry and they have found some hope in what the AAP is doing. The people want bring responsible politics," he said.

'This time I am sure the country is going to change. Also, I would like to visit Gujarat and see how much the state has developed," he added.

Kejriwal launched a Jhadu Chalao Yatra on Saturday that will cover 15 Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh.

The roadshow began from his residence in Kaushambi in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad District, and will cover Ghaziabad, Pilkhuwa, Hapur, Amroha, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Shahjahanpur and Hardoi.

Uttar Pradesh has a total of 80 Lok Sabha constituencies and is the largest Indian state in terms of number of seats, and will hold a deciding position in the context of the 2014 general elections.
