Horlicks launches new flavour

New Delhi, Jan 17 : The 150 year old brand Horlicks, from the house of GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare, recently launched a new flavour - Horlicks Kesar Badaam.
Taking forward the brand proposition of improving 5 signs of growth, Horlicks Kesar Badaam is packed with taste and nutrition, thus providing a rich consumption experience, the officials said.
According to the officials, owing to the nutrition science of Horlicks Kesar Badaam, it not only adds to the power of milk, but also tastes so good that the kid will finish the drink in one go.
This is the 4th variant in the Horlicks portfolio; the other flavors available are Malt, Chocolate and Elaichi.
Horlicks Kesar Badaam will now be available at all traditional and modern retail outlets across India in 400g packs from Jan 1.
Officials said, "The new Kesar Badaam flavor from Horlicks has real Kesar and Badam in it and supplements the body with the essential nutrients required for daily intake."
Designed and recommended by experts at the Horlicks Nutrition Academy, it contains micronutrients that are clinically proven to increase 5 signs of growth for kids and also provide the tasty nourishment for them, the officials informed.
Speaking at the launch of new Horlicks Kesar Badaam, Jayant Singh, EVP-Marketing, GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare India, said, "Horlicks, known for being synonymous with good health is now introducing the goodness of real kesar and badam."
