eBay India launches 'Deals@10PM'

Mumbai, Feb 26 : E-commerce marketplace eBay India recently announced 'Deals @ 10PM', exclusively for its mobile consumers from Feb 26 to Feb 28.

The 'mobile only' deals are being launched through a social campaign wherein consumers decide on the deals they want.

According to the officials, the campaign is aimed at engaging eBay India mobile consumers shopping through its mobile site (m.ebay.in).

Under the campaign, eBay India will unveil 3 different products every day for eBay India's Facebook page, Twitter handle and Instagram profile.

To unveil the deal, consumers will have to share and tweet the products.

The higher the participation, higher will be the discount.

Exclusive 'Deals @ 10PM' will be available on products like Perfumes, Watches, Audio Accessories, Auto Accessories and Video Games from 10PM to 12 Midnight during this campaign.

Explaining the reason behind this unique offering, Santosh Rao, Head Mobile Commerce, eBay India, said: "The eBay India Festive Mobile Commerce Survey conducted last year indicated that 78pc shoppers prefer shopping on mobiles to get great deals on purchases and an astounding 45pc of shoppers accessed shopping sites only at night."

Rao added, " On eBay India, 24pc of all customers visit eBay via a mobile device. With these invaluable insights, we decided to create special Deals @ 10PM for shoppers who log on to eBay India through their mobile phones."

Additionally, on Feb 26, consumers can participate in a one day contest on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and share the most un-conventional places/situations in which they have shopped through their mobile device.

The most creative responses will get mobile exclusive incentives from eBay India and a personalized illustration of their entries.
