Ninetendo's Game Boy fans now have a chance to turn their smartphones into a Game Boy console with help of a new emulator.

The new HTML5-based Game Boy emulator allows users to play some classic handheld games on their smartphone, including the Game Boy's actual button configuration.

According to metro.co.uk, a user simply needs to point their Android or iPhone's browser towards benmidi.com/Gameboy for 13 games including Super Mario and Tetris.

As the browser-based emulator, designed by New York-based programmer Ben Midi, has no copyright issues for companies like Apple, Nintendo could still try to have the site taken down.
