Gas pricing: Kejriwal writes to Modi
Former Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal on Friday wrote to Gujarat Chief Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi to clear his stand on gas pricing.
Earlier on Feb 16, Kejriwal slammed Modi and said he should 'break his silence' on the gas pricing scam.
"Modi shud break his silence on gas pricing. Also, what is his relation and his party's relation with Mukesh Ambani and Adani?" Kejriwal tweeted.
"Wud 2014 elections be fought betn AAP n Mukesh Ambani, with Rahul and Modi being agents of Mukesh Ambani?" he said.
Kejriwal on Feb 14 said supremo alleged that Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) chairman Mukesh Ambani is supporting the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government fort the past 10 years and even he backs Modi.
"Three days ago we lodged FIR against Mukesh Ambani. Ambani is running the UPA government for the last 10 years. He is also backing Modifor the past one year. How else Modi gets so much of money?" Kejriwal said.
Kejriwal on Feb 11 said he has ordered to register First Information Report (FIR) against Petroleum Minister M Veerappa Moily, former petroleum minister Murli Deora and RIL Chairman Mukesh Ambani for conspiring to inflate the prices of gas in the capital.
The FIR has been reportedly registered under sections dealing with criminal conspiracy, cheating and other sections of the Prevention Of Corruption Act.
Hours after the AAP government-backed Jan Lokpal Bill was not tabled in the Delhi Assembly, Kejriwal resigned as Delhi Chief Minister on Feb 14 after remaining in power for 49 days.
