US lawmakers appeal to block transfer of CIA drone campaign control to Pentagon

The officials said that the decision was included in a classified annex to the 1.1 trillion dollars federal budget plan, which was introduced this week, in a bid to preserve the spy agency's role in counterterrorism operations the measure.
