Noisy scenes were seen when the house re-assembled, as members from the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and the Congress legislators from Seemandhra region trooped near the chairman's podium protesting the proposed formation of Telangana.

Members of the DMK and AIADMK protested on the issue of Tamil fishermen.

Amid the din, Deputy Chairman P.J. Kurien adjourned the house till 2 p.m.
