Film on Antinarcotic activities released

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 15 : Film star Mammootty today handed over a CD of a short-film on Antinarcotic Activities to Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy.

The short-film was produced by the film star for the State Excise Department, as part of a camapign against the use of drugs among the people.

Mr Chandy said the film would be screened in all the schools in the state and theatres as part of the campaign against the drugs.

Earlier, the actor assurred the Chief Minister during the observation of the previous Anti-Tobacco Day that he would produce a film for creating awareness among the people about the ill effects of narcotics abuse. (UNI -Posted on / )
