Six in ten American voters think Palin not qualified to run for US president
In a Rasmussen survey, only 23 percent of voters said that Palin is qualified to serve as president.
Sixty-three percent say she is unqualified, Politico reports.
Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney was seen as a more qualified Republican presidential hopeful, as 49 percent of likely voters said that he was qualified to be president, compared with 25 percent who said he was not qualified.
Other candidates in the survey included former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty, Congressman Ron Paul and former House of Representatives Speaker Newt Gingrich.
Pawlenty and Paul were both viewed as qualified by 27 percent of respondents.
Paul was viewed as unqualified by 43 percent of respondents, and Pawlenty was viewed as unqualified by 32 percent.
Twenty-six percent of those surveyed viewed Gingrich as qualified, but 48 percent said Gingrich was unqualified.
The poll of 1,000 likely voters nationwide was taken on June 2-3, and has a margin of error of plus or minus three percentage points. (ANI -Posted on / )
