Davangere records lowest temperature of 10.5 deg Celsius

Bangalore, Jan 10 : Following is a summary of observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 today.

Dry weather prevailed over the State.

Minimum temperatures fell at most places being appreciably so at a few places over Coastal Karnataka, fell at a few places over North Interior Karnataka and changed little over South Interior Karnataka.

They were below normal at most places being appreciably so at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and below normal at many places over North Interior Karnataka, however they were above normal at many places being appreciably so at a few places over South Interior Karnataka.

Davangere recorded lowest minimum temperature of 10.5 degree Celsius in the plains of the State.

Forecast valid until Thursday morning: Rain/thunder showers would occur at isolated places over Interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather would prevail over Coastal Karnataka.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light rain would occur at isolated places over Gulbarga, Raichur and Bidar districts of North Interior Karnataka; Kolar, Chikaballapura, Ramanagara, Bengaluru Rural, Bengaluru Urban, Mysore, Mandya, Chamarajanagar and Tumkur districts of South Interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather would prevail over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka and remaining districts of North Interior Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka.

Forecast for Bangalore city: Partly cloudy sky. Light rain would occur in some areas. Minimum temperatures would bearound 18 degree Celsius. (UNI)
