Shimoga, Karnataka, Jan 7 : Former Karnataka chief minister B S Yeddyurappa today said there will be no change in the BJP Government in the State but he will change his attitude after January 14.

Talking to reporters at his residence here, he said, ''I will change my attitude, mind, behaviour, talking after 'Sankranti' Festival.'' He said he had already begun his state-wide campaign towards strengthening the BJP, during which all the local leaders of the party will join him.

He requested the media not to 'misinterpret' this.

He said party national high command will take steps at appropriate time regarding the party leadership in the State.

Mr D V Sadananda Gowda will discharge his duties as Chief Minister. Mr K S Eshwarappa will discharge his duties as state unit party president.

''I will work for the party as common party worker,'' he added.

Alleging Union Labour Minister M Mallikarjuna Kharge had totally neglected Hyderabad-Karnataka Region, the Senior BJP leader said he was visiting Bidar on January 24 to join the agitation demanding amendment to Article 371 to accord special status to Hyderabad-Karnataka region. (UNI)
