Oakridge makes India foray, plans to open 50 schools
Announcing the expansion of national footprint with the launch of Bangalore Campus with an investment of Rs 100 crore, he said Rs 200 crore was set aside as further investment during the academic year 2012-13.
To begin with branches would be opened at Vemgal, Amritsar, Guntur shortly.
He said in the school with teacher-student ratio as low as 1:10, importance would be given for local language also. The school offers ICSE at secondary level and also CBSE as an option for secondary level.
The school also offers UK-based University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) and the Switzerland-based International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO)-International Baccalaureate Primary Year Programme (IB PYP) and International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) to students from the Nursery through to Grade 12.
To begin with the Bangalore School would be from Nursery to VII standard and every year it would be increased upto XII standard.
Replying to a question, he said the fees ranged from Rs 90,000 to Rs 1.75 lakh per year. (UNI -Posted on / )
