Mysore records lowest temperature of 9.7 deg Celsius

Bangalore, Dec 29:Following is a summary of observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 hours today.

Dry weather prevailed over the State.

Moderate cold wave conditions prevailed in some parts of Interior Karnataka.

Minimum temperatures fell at many places over North Interior Karnataka; however rose at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and changed little over Coastal Karnataka. They were appreciably below normal at most places over North Interior Karnataka; below normal at most places being appreciably so at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and appreciably below normal at a few places over South Interior Karnataka.

Mysore recorded lowest minimum temperature of 09.7 degree Celsius in the plains of the State Forecast valid until Friday morning: Rain/thundershowers would occur at many places over South Interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather will prevail over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Moderate to rather heavy Rain/thundershowers would occur at many places over Mysore, Mandya, Chamarajanagar, Hassan, Bangalore Urban, Bangalore Rural, Kolar and Chikaballapura, Ramanagar, Tumkur districts of South Interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather will prevail over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka, North Interior Karnataka and remaining districts of South Interior Karnataka.

Heavy Rainfall Warning: Heavy rain would occur at isolated places over Mysore, Mandya, Chamarajanagar, Kolar and Chikaballapura districts of South Interior Karnataka during next 48 hours.

Forecast for Bengaluru city: Generally cloudy sky.

Rain/thundershowers would occur in some areas during evening/night.
