Brad Pitt takes Angelina Jolie to same restaurant he dined with Jennifer Aniston in 2003

London, June 22 : It has emerged that Brad Pitt took his partner Angelina Jolie to the same romantic restaurant in Malta where he had dined with ex-wife Jennifer Aniston eight years ago.

Pitt, 47, took Jolie, 36, to the same De Mondion restaurant at the Xara Palace Hotel where he had taken Aniston in 2003.

According to Us Magazine, at the time, the then-married couple even sat at a similar table, where they took in the views and held each other''s hands.

Much like Jolie, who is accompanying Pitt along with their six children whilst he films 'World War Z', Aniston, 42, was also visiting the actor when he was working on 'Troy'.

A note from the former couple also still existed in the restaurant guest book saying: "Thanks for the great escape. Much love, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston."

For Brangelina''s date, the couple is said to have entered the restaurant around 7pm in the evening, settling into their outdoor table.

"They were very, very romantic...Like a couple in love," the Daily Mail quoted a source as teling Us Weekly.

An insider said the couple indulged, tucking into a seafood-based tasting menu and 'ate everything on their plate'.

The pair also enjoyed about ''five glasses of wine each'', leading to the couple appearing 'a little tipsy' when they departed the restaurant at around 10pm.
