Sunderbans

The Sundarbans is the home of the Royal Bengal Tigers. It has an evergreen mangrove forests beside the sea. Apart from tigers, it also has other wild creatures such as spotted deer, boar, monkey, crocodile, python, Salvatore lizards, and a wide range of water birds.

Jaldapara Sanctuary

The Jaldapara Wild Life Sanctuary situated in Alipurduar Sub-Division of Jalpaiguri district has the famous single horned rhinos, Royal Bengal Tigers, wild elephants, deers, swamp deers, hog deers, wild pigs, bisons and a number of birds, pea-fowl etc.
