Bihar Wildlife Tourism Dalma wildlife sanctuary The Dalma Sanctuary is the best elephant habitat in Bihar and elephants migrate to this sanctuary because of the availability of water during summer. The Rajgir Wildlife Sanctuary has a typical monsoon climate and tropical dry deciduous forests. The sanctuary is rich in leopards, hyenas, barking deer and nilgais. Valmikinagar wildlife sanctuary The Valmiki National Park in the West Champaran district of Bihar has the One-horned rhinoceros and Indian bison. The forest is a mixture of extensive Savannah lands and swamp forests and is rich in Bhabar-Dun sal, dry Siwalik sal, khair, cane etc. Tigers dominate the wildlife landscape while other attractions include chitals, sambars, nilgais, leopards, hyenas, Indian civets, Jungle cats, Hog deer and wild dogs. Kabar Lake bird sanctuary The Kabar Lake Bird Sanctuary has the resident and the migratory birds from Central Asia and Himalayan regions.
