Bastar is the Land of Tribals and Resources enriched with natural beauty and pleasant atmosphere.

It is surrounded with dense forests, hilly mountains, streams, waterfalls, natural caves, and natural parks.

The city is also referred as the 'Kashmir of Chhattisgarh'.

Places of Interest:

Jagdalpur - Jagdalpur is one of most beautiful towns of the country with rich greenary, big trees everywhere, and plantations surrounding the town.

Bastar Palace - Bastar Palace was the head quarters of ancient Bastar Kigdom.

Chitrakot Waterfalls - Chitrakot, the gorgeous waterfall is on the river Indravati, situated at a distance of 38 Km. in the west of Jagdalpur. This waterfall is referred as the smaller form of the world famous Nayagra waterfall.

Tiratgarh Waterfalls - This waterfall is situated in Kanger Valley National Park and the height is approximately 300 ft.

Kutumsar Caves and Kailash Gufa - Both Kutumsar Caves and Kailash Gufa are located in Kanger Valley National Park. The kutumsar caves are pitch-dark caves having Stalactites and Stalagmites in fantastic formations.

Kanger Valley National Park - The Park is a Paradise for the nature lovers and one can see the Moist Peninsular valley Sal forests and the South Indian Tropical Moist Deciduous forests here.
