Kumarakom Backwaters

Kumarakom is a cluster of little islands on the Vembanad Lake. It is an enchanting backwater destination and it forms a part of the Kuttanad region.

It is an unbelievably beautiful paradise of mangrove forests with emerald green paddy fields and coconut groves interspersed with excellent waterways and canals adorned with while lilies.

It is a bird watchers’ paradise as it is the home to lots of migratory and resident bird species. There are boating and fishing facilities apart from traditional Kettuvalloms.

Kumarakom is also a popular beach resort and Ayurveda Center in Kerala.
