'Albino androids': The latest mystery in Hollywood
London, Sept 21 : The latest buzz in Hollywood circles these days is the mystery
behind "Albino Androids"- the white-masked men who have been spotted at a string of events
on the arms of some of the world's most beautiful ladies.
Dressed in black suits and black tie with white shirt, the men cover their heads with a
white mask and accompany pretty ladies at major events, reports Telegraph.
The androids were first spotted at the Venice Film Festival last month with Italian
model and actress Laura Esposito, attending the premier of the new Coen brothers film
'Burn After Reading', starring Brad Pitt and George Clooney.
Recently, one 'albino android' escorted Pamela Anderson at London Fashion Week, while
another was spotted on the arm of Miss Belgium, Alizee Poulicek, at the Belgian Grand
Prix.
The men wear robotic-like masks, which are expressionless, with white eyes, a piercing
stare, and white hair.
The frequent appearance of the mystery character is similar to the masked "Faceless
people" who turned up at a number of events over the summer, including Wimbledon, the
Henley regatta, and Elton John's white tie and tiara ball.
They were then revealed to be a part of a publicity stunt for car manufacturers The
Lotus Group, who were drumming up interest for its forthcoming new car, the Eagle.
